Monkey Escapes Delhi Zoo Enclosure, Attacks Staff and Visitor

A monkey broke free from its enclosure at a Delhi zoo, biting a staff member and a visitor before being subdued.
At around 10 a.m. on Tuesday, a monkey slipped through a broken section of its enclosure at a Delhi zoo.
The animal bit a zookeeper and a visitor before staff managed to restrain it and prevent further injury.
Emergency medical teams were called to the site, and both the staff member and the visitor received treatment at a nearby hospital.
Delhi Police have opened an investigation into the incident and are reviewing the zoo’s security protocols to prevent a recurrence.
