Mohanlal Drives Own Car in ‘Jailer 2’ Climax, Says Action Director Chethan

Veteran Malayalam star Mohanlal is reported to have taken the wheel himself for the high‑octane climax of the upcoming sequel ‘Jailer 2’. Action director Chethan Kumar, who oversaw the film’s stunt choreography, told The Times of India that the actor performed the entire car‑pursuit sequence without the use of a body double.

The climax involves a fast‑moving chase through narrow city lanes, demanding precise timing and control. Chethan said that Mohanlal’s experience and physical fitness allowed him to execute the demanding maneuvers safely, with the crew taking additional precautions on set.

Fans and industry observers have praised the actor’s commitment, noting that at his age, performing such a risky stunt underscores his dedication to authentic storytelling. The film, slated for release later this year, is expected to draw large audiences eager to see Mohanlal’s on‑screen action.
