MCD Closes 14 Ayurvedic Health Centres in Delhi After Unsafe Building Findings

Following the Saty Niketan building collapse, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi inspected its properties and found 14 Ayurvedic health centres housed in dilapidated and unsafe structures. The centres have been ordered to close immediately.
After the building collapse in Saty Niketan, the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) carried out a safety review of its owned properties. The inspection revealed that 14 Ayurvedic health centres were operating in buildings deemed dilapidated and unsafe for public use. In response, MCD has directed the immediate closure of these centres to ensure citizen safety.
