Manipur Chief Minister Khemchand Singh announced that the state government is taking steps to facilitate the return of internally displaced persons to their homes.
Manipur Chief Minister Khemchand Singh said on Thursday that the state government is actively working to enable internally displaced persons (IDPs) to return to their homes after years of displacement caused by insurgency and conflict in the region.
The CM highlighted that the government has identified key areas where IDPs can safely resettle and is coordinating with local authorities to ensure basic services such as water, electricity and security are restored.
In addition to infrastructure support, the government plans to provide financial assistance and livelihood programmes to help displaced families rebuild their lives.
Khemchand Singh urged the public to cooperate with authorities and assured that the state would continue to monitor the situation closely to ensure a smooth and secure return for all IDPs.
