Mahua Moitra Criticizes Police Over Milan Pradhan Case, Questions Their Integrity

Mahua Moitra, a Member of Parliament from West Bengal and a senior leader of the Indian National Congress, has taken a strong stance against the police over the ongoing Milan Pradhan case. The case, which involves allegations against Milan Pradhan, has been under investigation by the local police force. In a statement released on Tuesday, Moitra questioned the conduct of the officers, asking, "Are you a dalal or an IPS?" She accused them of acting as intermediaries rather than upholding the duties of an Indian Police Service officer. The MP demanded a thorough review of the investigation and called for greater transparency and accountability from the police department. The police have not yet issued a formal response to the criticism.
