The Madhya Pradesh government has approved ₹36,006 crore for the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, to be utilized through 2031 for improving school education across the state.

The state cabinet cleared the financial outlay for the Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, a centrally sponsored scheme aimed at universalizing quality education. This approval earmarks ₹36,006 crore to be spent over the next eight years.

The funds will support the scheme’s core components, including school infrastructure development, teacher capacity building, and initiatives to improve learning outcomes for students in government and aided schools.

Officials said the allocation reflects Madhya Pradesh’s commitment to strengthening its education sector and ensuring that the benefits of the scheme reach every district till 2031.
