The Kuki Cultural Programme (KCP) has published the third volume of its journal ‘Lanthengminnasi Eikhoi’, marking a continued effort to promote regional literature.
Imphal – The Kuki Cultural Programme (KCP) released the third volume of its quarterly journal ‘Lanthengminnasi Eikhoi’ on Tuesday, as reported by the Imphal Times. The publication, which focuses on the language, culture and contemporary issues of the Kuki community, adds to the series that began two years ago.
The new issue contains scholarly articles, poetry and short stories contributed by writers and researchers from Manipur and neighboring states. By providing a dedicated platform for indigenous voices, KCP aims to preserve and disseminate Kuki heritage in written form.
The launch ceremony was attended by local cultural activists and representatives of academic institutions, who acknowledged the journal’s role in fostering linguistic pride and intercultural dialogue. KCP officials indicated that the third volume will be distributed to libraries, schools and community centres across the state.
The journal’s continued publication reflects a broader movement among regional groups in Northeast India to document and celebrate their distinct identities through literature and research.
