Kartarpur Corridor Remains Shut

The Central government has received representations from various Sikh religious groups and organisations, urging for the early reopening of the Sri Kartarpur Sahib Corridor. However, the current security scenario has compelled the authorities to keep the corridor suspended. The decision to suspend the corridor was taken in view of the prevailing security concerns. The corridor, which connects India to Pakistan, has been a significant pilgrimage site for Sikhs.
