The Karnataka education authorities have recorded about 110,000 Form-7 objections as the deadline for submitting SIR documents approaches.

Karnataka's education department reported that roughly 110,000 Form-7 objections have been filed as the statutory deadline for the SIR submission draws near. The large number of objections reflects widespread concerns from schools and stakeholders about the pending report.

Form-7 is the formal mechanism through which institutions can raise issues or contest entries before the SIR (School Inspection Report) is finalized. The deadline, set by the state, marks the cut‑off after which the SIR will be compiled and made public.

Officials said they are reviewing the objections and will incorporate valid points into the final SIR. The department has urged schools to ensure that any further grievances are submitted before the closing date to avoid delays in the certification process.
