Chief Minister Eshwarappa Shivakumar will meet officials on Monday to examine the Bangalore Development Authority's pending infrastructure projects.
The Karnataka government has scheduled a high‑level review of Bengaluru's infrastructure agenda for Monday, with Chief Minister Eshwarappa Shivakumar leading the meeting. The focus will be on projects under the Bangalore Development Authority (BDA), which include road upgrades, water supply schemes and public transport enhancements.
Officials from the BDA and relevant municipal departments are expected to present status reports, budget allocations and timelines for each pending scheme. The chief minister is set to assess progress against earlier commitments and identify any bottlenecks that may be delaying implementation.
The review comes amid growing public pressure to accelerate civic improvements in the fast‑growing metropolis. The Economic Times reported that the meeting will also consider new proposals aimed at decongesting traffic and improving flood resilience ahead of the upcoming monsoon season.
