Kalyana Karnataka Liberation Day Celebrated at Janata Colony Government Lower Primary School
Jalahalli, Sept. 17: Kalyana Karnataka Liberation Day was celebrated with enthusiasm at the Government Lower Primary School in Janata Colony, Jalahalli town, Devadurga taluk.
As part of the programme, SDMC President Khurshid Patel and Headmistress Ulpathunisa Begum hoisted the national flag.
Speaking on the occasion, SDMC President Khurshid Patel said that everyone should remember the freedom fighters who fought for the liberation of the Hyderabad-Karnataka region. He said the region attained liberation as a result of their sacrifice and struggle, and their contributions should be conveyed to future generations.
Headmistress Ulpathunisa Begum welcomed all those who attended the programme and helped conduct the event successfully.
Assistant Teacher Sunita, Guest Teacher Somanna Naik, SDMC members Shivappa Anjal, Mohammed Idris, Hussenappa Tavag, Mahinuddin and Sarnobat, cooking staff Mallamma and Ellamma Anjal, along with the schoolchildren, participated in the programme.
