J&K Government Gives JKAS Officer Raj Mohammad Additional Charge as UDAK CEO

The state government announced that JKAS officer Raj Mohammad, who currently holds a senior administrative post, will take on the additional responsibility of Chief Executive Officer of the Union Development Authority of Kashmir (UDAK). The appointment was disclosed through an official press release issued by the Jammu and Kashmir administration.
UDAK, a statutory body tasked with planning and executing development projects across the Kashmir valley, has been seeking stable leadership to accelerate ongoing infrastructure and socio‑economic initiatives. Assigning the CEO role to an experienced civil servant is intended to improve coordination between the authority and other state departments.
Raj Mohammad, a member of the Jammu and Kashmir Administrative Service, has previously served in various district and departmental positions. His additional charge is effective immediately, and he will continue to report to the Chief Secretary while overseeing UDAK’s operational matters.
