Jamia Millia Islamia Students Continue Protest Over Union Election Demand

Students at Jamia Millia Islamia in Delhi have maintained a protest demanding the conduct of a student union election. The demonstrators, who have been on the university campus for several days, argue that the election is essential for student representation and accountability. In response, the university administration announced that all classes would be conducted online to minimize disruptions. The move to virtual learning has been welcomed by some students but criticized by others who feel it undermines the protest’s impact. Authorities have assured that the situation will be monitored closely and that the election process will be reviewed.
