The Anti‑Corruption Bureau (ACB) arrested Sambharelak police station SHO Rammilhan Meena on Tuesday for accepting a monthly bribe of ₹50,000. The arrest came after investigators traced the payments to the officer’s personal account. Meena allegedly used a towel to lift the cash, hoping to avoid chemical tests that could detect traces of money. Forensic analysis of the towel revealed fingerprints and traces of the bribe notes, confirming the allegations. The ACB has filed a charge sheet and the case is now pending in the court.
