During the 30th edition of the Jaipur Association Gemstone Show (JAGS‑2026) held in Jaipur, organisers intensified efforts to brand the city as a leading global hub for coloured gemstones. The exhibition featured 210 booths representing a wide spectrum of gem cutters, traders and designers from across India and abroad.
In a single day, more than 5,000 trade visitors toured the stalls, indicating strong buyer interest and networking activity. The high footfall underscores Jaipur’s growing reputation as a marketplace for quality gemstones.
Industry officials projected that the showcase could translate into gemstone exports worth around ₹5,000 crore, while also creating direct and indirect employment opportunities for roughly 200,000 families in the region.
