The Tamil sequel Jailer 2 has amassed over ₹350 crore net in ten days, marking the highest‑grossing second Saturday in Kollywood’s history.
The Tamil‑language film Jailer 2 has crossed the ₹350 crore net mark within ten days of its release, according to box‑office data reported by Koimoi. The milestone was achieved on the film’s second Saturday, which recorded the highest collections ever seen for a Saturday in Kollywood.
Industry analysts attribute the strong performance to the movie’s star power, extensive promotional campaign, and positive word‑of‑mouth among audiences across Tamil Nadu. The film’s earnings have placed it among the most successful Tamil releases of the year.
The achievement underscores the growing market for regional cinema in India, with Jailer 2’s box‑office run contributing significantly to the overall health of the South Indian film sector.
The producers have not disclosed the exact gross figure, but the net collection exceeding ₹350 crore signals a robust commercial response as the film continues its theatrical run.
Stakeholders expect the momentum to sustain in the coming weeks, potentially setting new benchmarks for future Tamil productions.
