A new Indian combat drone called Agni Kalash can fly up to 300 km and operate without GPS, according to Livemint.

The Defence establishment has announced the development of a new combat drone named Agni Kalash. Designed for operational use, the platform is reported to have a maximum flight distance of about 300 kilometres.

According to the information released, Agni Kalash incorporates navigation and control systems that do not depend on satellite‑based GPS signals. This enables the drone to remain functional in environments where GPS may be denied or jammed.

The ability to operate autonomously over a considerable range is expected to broaden the Indian armed forces' options for surveillance and strike missions, especially in contested airspaces. The project reflects India's ongoing push for indigenous, technology‑driven defence solutions.
