New Delhi has again voiced its support for a two‑state solution to the Israel‑Palestine dispute, stating that such an outcome remains the most viable path to lasting peace. The reaffirmation was made through an official statement issued by the Ministry of External Affairs, which underscored India's long‑standing position on the issue.
India’s foreign policy has consistently advocated for a negotiated settlement based on United Nations resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. The statement highlighted the need for both parties to resume direct talks, respect each other's legitimate aspirations, and refrain from actions that could further destabilise the region.
The government also called on the international community to play a constructive role, urging regional actors and global powers to support dialogue rather than unilateral measures. By reiterating its stance, India aims to contribute to a diplomatic environment that can eventually lead to the establishment of two sovereign states living side by side in peace and security.
