The Indian Army and United States forces began a joint exercise in northern India, marking a deepening of defence cooperation between the two nations.
The Indian and American armed forces kicked off a joint military exercise today in the northern region of India, underscoring a growing strategic partnership between the two countries.
The drill is designed to improve interoperability, share tactical knowledge and enhance readiness for a range of operational scenarios that both militaries may face.
Training activities are being conducted in the rugged terrain of northern India, providing a realistic environment for combined maneuvers and joint command‑and‑control exercises.
Participating units from both sides are engaging in land, air and logistical drills, aiming to build mutual confidence and strengthen coordination for future joint operations.
Defence officials said the exercise reflects a shared commitment to regional stability and the broader security architecture of the Indo‑Pacific region.
