The INDIA Bloc announced that its nationwide ‘Save Democracy’ marches will commence on October 2, marking the start of a coordinated protest across the country.
New Delhi – The political coalition known as the INDIA Bloc has scheduled the launch of its ‘Save Democracy’ marches for October 2. The announcement, made through a press release, indicates that the rallies will be organized across multiple locations in India, aiming to draw public attention to concerns about democratic governance.
The marches are part of a broader campaign by the bloc, which seeks to mobilize citizens ahead of upcoming electoral events. Organisers have called for peaceful participation and have urged supporters to adhere to local regulations during the demonstrations.
Authorities have been informed of the planned routes and dates, and security arrangements are expected to be put in place to ensure order. The bloc has not disclosed the exact number of participants or the specific cities where the first rallies will take place.
The initiative reflects the bloc’s effort to position itself as a defender of democratic values amid a charged political climate. Observers note that the timing, coinciding with the national holiday of Gandhi Jayanti, may be intended to underscore the symbolic importance of democratic principles.
Further details about the march itinerary and any associated events are expected to be released by the INDIA Bloc in the coming days.
