ICC Introduces New Playing Conditions Effective Oct 1

The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced that its updated playing conditions will become effective on 1 October 2024. The move is part of the body’s ongoing effort to refine the rules that govern international cricket matches. While the full details of the changes have not yet been released, the ICC has stated that the new conditions will cover areas such as player eligibility, match conduct and the use of technology. Teams and national boards are advised to review the forthcoming guidelines to ensure compliance in all tournaments scheduled after the effective date. The ICC will publish the complete set of revised rules on its official website in the coming weeks.
