The state of Himachal Pradesh has issued yellow weather alerts as a new spell of rain is expected to hit the region from October 6.
Himachal Pradesh authorities have announced a fresh wave of rainfall expected to begin on October 6. The state’s meteorological department has issued yellow alerts across several districts, urging residents to take precautionary measures.
The warning comes after a series of heavy showers that have already caused disruptions in transport and agriculture. Officials advise farmers to secure crops and check irrigation systems for potential damage.
Local authorities are preparing for possible waterlogging and landslides, especially in the hilly areas. Emergency services have been put on standby to respond to any incidents that may arise during the rain spell.
