Heavy Rain Alert Issued for Madhya Pradesh

The Madhya Pradesh Meteorological Department has released a new alert warning of heavy rainfall across the state. The notice follows a series of recent showers and anticipates intensified precipitation in the coming hours.

Authorities have cautioned that the expected downpours could lead to localized flooding, waterlogging and reduced visibility on roads. Residents in vulnerable areas are advised to keep emergency kits ready and avoid non‑essential travel until conditions improve.

Local officials are coordinating with disaster‑management teams to monitor river levels and ensure rapid response if needed. The public is urged to follow updates from official channels and heed any further advisories issued by the department.
