A government school in rural Haryana is operating without proper classrooms and fans, forcing students to learn in makeshift spaces while enduring high temperatures.
A government school in a remote village of Haryana is functioning without any permanent classrooms, leaving students to gather in open fields or temporary tents for lessons.
The lack of fans has made the learning environment unbearable during the scorching summer months, with temperatures often exceeding 40°C. Teachers report that students are losing concentration and experiencing heat exhaustion.
Local education officials have acknowledged the issue and promised to allocate funds for constructing proper classrooms and installing ventilation. However, no definitive timeline has been provided, and the school remains in a state of infrastructural neglect.
Parents and community members have expressed frustration, urging the state government to expedite the repairs and ensure a safe, conducive environment for the children’s education.
