The Hanspal Brothers company has unveiled a fleet of automated waste loaders aimed at tackling the growing litter problem in Kapurthala, Punjab.
The Hanspal Brothers, a local waste-management firm, has introduced a series of automated loaders designed to collect and transport garbage across Kapurthala city streets. The new machines are equipped with sensors and GPS navigation to streamline collection routes and reduce manual labor.
City officials say the deployment will help curb the visible piles of waste that have marred Kapurthala’s reputation as the "Paris of Punjab." By automating the process, the company hopes to improve efficiency and lower operating costs.
The firm plans to install the loaders in key areas over the next month, with a pilot program targeting the busiest market and residential zones. If successful, the technology could be expanded to other towns in Punjab.
"Our goal is to bring Kapurthala back to its green image," a Hanspal Brothers spokesperson said. "Automation will allow us to clean more streets in less time."
