A collision on the Kundli‑Manesar‑Palwal (KMP) expressway in Haryana killed five Uttar Pradesh labourers traveling for farm work.

A road accident on the Kundli‑Manesar‑Palwal (KMP) expressway in Haryana claimed the lives of five men from Uttar Pradesh who were on their way to the state for agricultural work. The victims were part of a group of seasonal farm labourers travelling to meet the demand for manpower in Haryana's fields.

Emergency services reached the crash site shortly after the collision and recovered the bodies of all five workers. Police have cordoned off the stretch of the expressway and are conducting a preliminary investigation to determine the cause of the crash, which is believed to involve a vehicular collision.

The incident highlights the risks faced by migrant farm workers who frequently travel long distances for temporary employment. Authorities have urged drivers on the busy KMP corridor to adhere to speed limits and exercise caution, especially during peak migration periods for agricultural labour.

Local officials confirmed that the identities of the deceased will be released after formal verification, and families in Uttar Pradesh have been notified. The police have promised a thorough inquiry and have asked any witnesses to come forward.
