Education Department Deploys Mobile Science Labs for Rural Government Schools
The education department has launched ‘Science Lab on Wheels’ vehicles to provide practical science learning to students in rural government schools.
The education department has introduced mobile science laboratories, branded as “Science Lab on Wheels,” to enhance practical science education for students in rural government schools. These specially equipped vehicles travel to remote areas, bringing hands‑on experiments and demonstrations directly to classrooms that lack permanent laboratory facilities.
The initiative aims to bridge the gap in science learning by offering interactive sessions that complement the standard curriculum. Teachers can schedule visits, allowing students to engage with scientific concepts through real‑world applications, fostering curiosity and deeper understanding.
By bringing laboratory resources to the doorstep of rural schools, the program seeks to improve science proficiency and inspire interest in STEM fields among young learners across the region.
