Karnataka's tourism minister K.J. George told reporters that a delegation of investors from Dubai has approached the state government seeking opportunities in the tourism sector. The investors are reportedly looking at projects such as luxury resorts, heritage hotels and adventure tourism facilities that can leverage Karnataka's natural and cultural attractions.
The minister said the interest aligns with Karnataka's ongoing efforts to diversify its tourism offerings beyond traditional pilgrimage and wildlife destinations. He added that the state is ready to provide necessary clearances and incentives to facilitate foreign investment, while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
