Delhi is implementing a new BS6 emission standard, banning older vehicles. Residents of the NCR region can check if their vehicles are affected.
The Delhi government is set to enforce a new rule requiring vehicles to meet the BS6 emission standard. This means that older vehicles that do not meet the stricter emission norms will be banned from operating within the city limits. Residents of the National Capital Region (NCR), which includes areas surrounding Delhi, are also affected by this rule. To determine if their vehicle is compliant with the new BS6 standard, residents can check online resources provided by the Delhi government.
