Delhi officials disclosed on September 24, 2026 that a city‑wide safety audit of public parks has been initiated. The audit will systematically review existing safety measures and identify any gaps that could affect visitors.

Authorities said the audit reflects a commitment to enhance public safety in recreational spaces and that recommendations will be acted upon promptly.
