India's Defence Minister Rajnath Singh has called on armed forces personnel to be more vigilant against cyber and information warfare threats.

During a briefing at the Defence Ministry, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh highlighted the growing threat of cyber attacks and misinformation campaigns targeting the armed forces. He stressed that modern warfare increasingly relies on digital platforms, making soldiers vulnerable to hacking, phishing and propaganda. The minister urged regular training, stricter protocols and closer collaboration with cyber units to safeguard sensitive data. He added that the Ministry is reviewing existing policies to strengthen cyber resilience across all branches. These remarks come as India continues to bolster its cyber defence capabilities amid rising regional threats.
