At a rally in Goa, Congress leader Revanth Reddy used a mythological analogy to criticize the BJP and called for public backing to defeat the ruling party.
Congress MP Revanth Reddy addressed a crowd in Goa on Saturday, employing the Hindu epic metaphor of Ram versus Ravan to frame the political contest. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of embodying the traits of Ravan, describing the ruling party as a threat to the nation's moral fabric.
Reddy urged voters to rally behind the symbolic figure of Ram, positioning the Congress as the force capable of restoring ethical governance. He warned that without collective support, the BJP could continue its perceived anti‑people agenda.
The rally, organized by local party units, drew a sizable gathering of supporters who responded with chants and slogans. While no specific policy details were announced, the speech underscored the Congress’s intent to challenge the BJP in upcoming electoral battles in the state and nationally.
