Oil firms have increased the cost of commercial LPG cylinders in Rajasthan by ₹62.50 per unit, effective immediately.
Oil marketing companies announced a hike of ₹62.50 per commercial LPG cylinder in Rajasthan, taking effect from today. The increase applies to cylinders used by businesses, hotels, and other non‑domestic users.
The new tariff will be reflected in the next billing cycle, and distributors have been instructed to charge the revised rate at the point of sale. No change has been communicated for household LPG cylinders.
Industry observers note that the adjustment could raise operating costs for enterprises that rely heavily on LPG for cooking or heating, potentially prompting a review of pricing strategies.
The state government has not issued a separate statement on the matter, leaving the market to adjust to the higher price point as set by the oil companies.
