Parents and teachers in Chhattisgarh have raised concerns after the Class 6 Hindi board exam featured several repeated questions and an apparently flawed marking scheme.
The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education’s Class 6 Hindi paper has come under fire after candidates reported that several questions were identical to those in earlier assessments.
Students and teachers noted that the duplication reduced the paper’s difficulty and raised doubts about the fairness of the evaluation.
In addition, the marking scheme allocated points in a manner that many consider inconsistent, prompting complaints that scores could be inflated or deflated arbitrarily.
