CBFC Cuts Blood‑Stained Indian Map Scene from Udta Teer

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has asked filmmakers to delete a specific shot from the Bollywood movie Udta Teer. The contested frame depicted a map of India splattered with blood, which the board deemed unsuitable for public exhibition.

According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, the CBFC’s directive came after the film’s certification process began. The board’s decision reflects its mandate to ensure that visual content does not offend national sentiment or public sensibilities.

The filmmakers of Udta Teer have been instructed to submit a revised version of the film without the offending image before it can receive a final certification for release across India.
