According to reports, the final list of BJP candidates was confirmed late at night through telephone conversations with senior functionaries. Among those granted tickets were veteran leaders such as Jyoti Khandelwal, whose inclusion signals the party’s reliance on experienced figures. The party also announced that the name of Kusum Yadav, previously under scrutiny, has been cleared, allowing her to contest without objections.
With the candidate roster now set, the BJP will submit its election symbols directly to the Returning Officer’s office later today, completing the formalities required for the upcoming polls.
