The ruling BJP has dismissed the Jammu & Kashmir statehood resolution presented by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and announced it will not permit a debate on Article 370 in the Parliament.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) formally rejected the Jammu & Kashmir statehood resolution submitted by former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah.
In a statement released by the party, BJP leaders said the resolution would not be considered for debate in the Lok Sabha and that the government would not allow any discussion on Article 370.
