BJP leader's 'Will stand with Pakistan' remark sparks political outcry

The controversy erupted after a senior BJP figure declared that India would "stand with Pakistan" in a recent public address. The comment, perceived as contrary to the country's strategic stance, immediately triggered a backlash from opposition parties. Congress leaders condemned the remark, branding it as an act of treason and demanding accountability. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) also entered the fray, calling on Prime Minister Narendra Modi to address the issue and clarify the government's position. As the debate intensifies in Parliament and media circles, the BJP has yet to issue an official response, leaving the political discourse unsettled.
