Bihar Inspects 700 Model Schools Across the State

The education department of Bihar announced that a total of 700 model schools have been inspected across the state. The inspections were carried out as part of the department’s ongoing effort to assess infrastructure, teaching standards and compliance with state guidelines. Officials visited schools in both urban and rural districts, checking classroom conditions, availability of learning resources and the implementation of the model school scheme.

Preliminary findings indicate a varied performance among the schools, with some meeting the required standards while others need improvements in facilities and staff training. The department has said it will compile a detailed report and share recommendations with the respective school administrations.

The comprehensive inspection underscores the state’s focus on strengthening the quality of education in its model schools, which are intended to serve as benchmarks for other institutions.
