The Bihar health authorities have warned residents not to consume any fish caught in flood‑affected waters flowing from Nepal.
The health department of Bihar issued an advisory urging people to avoid eating fish that have been caught in flood‑water streams coming from Nepal. The warning follows recent heavy rains that caused the Kosi and other rivers to swell, carrying water and debris across the state border.
