Bidar: Hindu National Coordination Committee Appeals to Governor on Legal Misuse

Bidar: The Hindu Rashtra Samanvaya Samiti has submitted a petition through the District Collector to the Governor, urging the enforcement of law, protection of constitutional rights, and safeguarding citizens' lives and freedoms in the state. The petition highlights the ongoing hunger strike by National Defence Force president Puneeth Kerehalli and calls for the Governor's urgent intervention, including an immediate medical examination by an independent team to ensure his health and safety.

The petition also demands a review of the FIR filed against Puneeth Kerehalli and his associates related to a case under Basavanagudi Police Station jurisdiction. It requests secure preservation of CCTV footage, impartial investigation into those who attempted evidence destruction, and action against negligent officials. Additionally, the committee seeks independent scrutiny of legal actions against Bharat Kundmel and others in the Abdul Rehman murder case in Bantwal, as well as various notices issued under the Goonda Act and border regulations against Hindu activists.

The committee further appeals for a high-level inquiry into alleged legal misuse in cases against Hindu activists, including the notice served to RSS leader Dr. Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat. Present at the petition submission were Hindu Rashtra Samanvaya Samiti Bidar Coordinator Srikant Modi, Co-Coordinator Gopalakrishnan Kukdal, Hindu Jagaran Sama
nvaya Samiti Director Dr. R.K. Chari, Vijayalakshmi R. Chari, Rashtriya Sevika Samiti worker Hemalatha Joshi, Rekha Saali, Premalatha, and Goraksha activities leader from North Karnataka, Channabasavanta Reddy, among others.
