Bhopal‑Indore Metro Announces Up to 35% Ticket Discount Until 2026

From Oct 11, the Bhopal‑Indore metro will give a 25% extra discount on single‑journey tickets, a total 30% off on return tickets and 35% off on group tickets until Dec 31, 2026.
The metro network linking Bhopal and Indore will roll out a special fare concession starting 11 October. Passengers buying single‑journey tickets will receive an additional 25% discount, while return‑ticket buyers will enjoy a total reduction of 30%.
Group travelers, defined as parties of two or more, will benefit from the highest concession of 35% on the regular fare. The discounts are applicable for all trips on the Bhopal‑Indore corridor until 31 December 2026.
Metro officials said the scheme aims to boost ridership and make public transport more affordable for commuters and tourists alike. The reduced fares will be reflected automatically at ticket vending machines and online booking platforms.
The announcement was made through a press release by the Madhya Pradesh Metro Authority, which also urged commuters to plan their journeys early to take advantage of the limited‑time offer.
