Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw presided over the inauguration of four Gati Shakti cargo terminals in Gujarat on Thursday. The terminals, built under the government's Gati Shakti – National Master Plan for Infrastructure Development, are intended to streamline freight movement and cut logistics costs for businesses operating in the state.
The ceremony also featured the laying of a foundation stone for a fifth cargo terminal, signalling the government's commitment to expanding the logistics network further. Officials said the new facilities will be equipped with modern handling equipment and integrated digital platforms to improve efficiency.
