The newly appointed head of the Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee said a revitalised Congress will take shape in the state following the upcoming local body elections.
The Andhra Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) has installed a new in‑charge, who told reporters that the party is poised for a resurgence after the forthcoming local body polls. He emphasized that a "new Congress" will emerge, signalling fresh leadership and renewed energy within the state unit.
The statement comes at a crucial juncture for the Congress in Andhra Pradesh, where the party has struggled to make electoral headway in recent years. By projecting a revitalised image, the APCC hopes to reconnect with voters ahead of the municipal and panchayat elections.
