The Andhra Pradesh government announced the establishment of 21 new nutrition rehabilitation centres aimed at treating malnourished children across the state.

The state government of Andhra Pradesh has approved the creation of twenty‑one new nutrition rehabilitation centres dedicated to children suffering from severe malnutrition. The announcement was made as part of the health department’s ongoing effort to strengthen child health services. These centres will be set up in various districts to ensure wider geographic coverage. Each facility is expected to provide therapeutic feeding, medical monitoring and counseling for caregivers. The initiative seeks to reduce the prevalence of acute malnutrition among children in the state.
