The Hindi daily Amar Ujala began real‑time updates of Bihar’s breaking news on 29 October, covering politics, sports, entertainment, religion, crime and education.
Amar Ujala, a leading Hindi newspaper, started a dedicated live‑feed on 29 October to broadcast the most recent developments across Bihar. The service aggregates reports from the state’s districts and presents them in real time on the portal’s homepage.
The live update stream includes a broad range of topics such as state politics, sports events, entertainment releases, religious observances, crime incidents and education news. By consolidating these categories, the outlet aims to provide readers with a single, up‑to‑date source for everything happening in Bihar.
Editors said the initiative responds to growing demand for instant information, especially as digital consumption rises among the state’s population. The platform also allows users to share stories on social media directly from the live page.
Analysts view the move as part of a larger trend among regional media houses to strengthen their online presence and compete with national portals for regional audiences.
