Airtel Xstream Play has introduced a single subscription plan that bundles movies, live sports, TV shows and other content under one price. The new offering aims to simplify streaming for Indian users.
Airtel Xstream Play, the telecom giant's over‑the‑top (OTT) platform, announced a consolidated subscription that combines its movie library, live sports channels, TV series and original programming. The plan is priced competitively to attract price‑sensitive Indian consumers who juggle multiple streaming services.
The bundled offering includes access to popular Bollywood and regional films, live cricket and football matches, as well as a curated selection of TV shows across genres. Existing Xstream Play users will be able to switch to the new plan without additional activation fees.
Airtel officials said the move reflects growing demand for a single‑ticket solution that reduces subscription fatigue. The company expects the plan to boost subscriber retention and drive higher average revenue per user (ARPU) in the highly competitive Indian streaming market.
The service will be available nationwide from the date of the announcement, with payment options through Airtel postpaid bills, prepaid recharges and digital wallets. Users can activate the plan via the Xstream Play app or Airtel's MyAirtel portal.
