AIIMS Bhopal has rolled out an awareness drive aimed at educating citizens on the correct use of medicines and medical devices. The institute highlighted the risks associated with self‑medication and emphasized the importance of following prescribed guidelines.
As part of the campaign, AIIMS provided clear instructions on how to store, administer and dispose of pharmaceutical products safely. Health professionals were deployed across the city to answer queries and distribute informational leaflets.
The institute also set up a reporting mechanism for any adverse drug reactions or equipment failures. A toll‑free number, 1800‑180‑3024, and a dedicated mobile application have been made available for the public to log incidents promptly.
Officials said the initiative aims to reduce medication errors and improve overall public health outcomes in Madhya Pradesh.
