10 Foreign Women Deported from Jaipur as Visa Stays Expire

Earlier today immigration officials in Jaipur escorted ten foreign women out of the city after their visas expired. Nine of the women were citizens of Thailand and one was from Laos. The deportations were carried out in accordance with existing immigration rules that require foreign nationals to leave India once their authorized stay ends.

The officials conducted a verification check, issued a notice to the individuals and arranged for their transport to the nearest airport. The women were handed over to airline authorities and flown out of the country without any incident.

Authorities emphasized that the action was a routine enforcement of visa regulations and not related to any criminal investigation. They added that similar checks are regularly performed across major Indian cities to ensure compliance with immigration laws.

The deportations highlight the government's ongoing focus on tightening visa monitoring amid broader efforts to manage foreign entries. No further details about the individuals' travel plans or personal circumstances were disclosed.
