Zoho's messaging platform Arattai has partnered with MapmyIndia's Mappls to embed location‑sharing features directly within chats, aiming to simplify how users exchange geographic information.
Zoho has announced that its Arattai messaging app will now incorporate MapmyIndia's Mappls service, allowing users to share precise locations without leaving the conversation. The integration leverages Mappls' extensive mapping data and navigation capabilities, embedding a location pin directly into the chat interface.
The move is positioned as a convenience upgrade for both personal and business users, who can instantly transmit addresses, landmarks or live coordinates to contacts.
Both companies highlighted that the partnership underscores India's growing ecosystem of home‑grown digital tools, aiming to reduce reliance on foreign mapping solutions.
Details on rollout timelines and any associated costs were not disclosed, but the feature is expected to be rolled out to Arattai users in the coming weeks.
